The 1st Ever Auckland Board Meeting is to take place this Sunday. Meet outside the Museum by the big guns 10am this Sunday with your best dress shirt and tie. Start: 13:00

Come down to the wellington waterfront and have some fun avoiding cones in preperation for the slalom race on queens birthday weekend. If you dont have a slalom board, try and find a board that is not too long (you should be able to stand over/near both trucks) & put some narrow loose trucks, risers + grippy wheels on it. You should also be able to borrow one. Meet at 1pm by the skate park or 12:45 @ empire coffee/skate shop. We will set up the cones behind tepapa. I am busy the following two sundays so if someone else wants to host the sunday skate that would be appreciated. | ||

1pm @ Albany on the Shore. We will start at Corinthian Drive then move on from there. The hill is good for everything and has very little traffic so bring your quiver with you. There is a smaller hill so if you’re a beginner still come out and skate with us. If you don’t drive the Albany Station is 2 minutes away so jump on a bus heading north along the Bus way. If it rains I’ll post in the comments section by 11 and then everyone who is keen we’ll hit up the parking garages in town. | ||

Our mate Duncan has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is a debilitating neurological condition that affects nerves that control voluntary muscles. They gradually stop working until the body stops functioning - while the mind is still active. MND has a prognosis of two to five years, and kills five people a day in the UK alone. There is no cure. | ||
