Landyachtz slide gloves

does any one know were i can get some landyachtz slide gloves in New Zealand?

I don't think anyone in NZ

I don't think anyone in NZ is selling them. The only slide goves for sale in NZ are the loaded gloves and they're really bot worth the $100- $140 price tag. Go to NZ Safety and look for there blue work glove for $25(they're the same as the old V-Green garden gloves(?) jestah correct me if i'm wrong about the name). Get some black sugarcube pucks form sugar boards and some stick on velcro from spotlight. There you go $50 for some great slide gloves, otherwise you'll pay atleast $100 to get landy gloves from OZ or Canada.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS "I USED TO SK8"

I can get them if you really want.

Though not likely to place another order with Landyachtz for 3-4 weeks. Let me know if you're interested. Do have the Loadeds for $85 - still have a few in stock.

Cheers

Would you be bringing in a

Would you be bringing in a few pairs of the gloves? I'm keen but won't be able to buy a pair til mid March, most likely, and don't want to pre-order a pair in case I can't get as much work as I'd like and have to renege on the order.

how much of you?

If i could get them of you how much would they be?

That should be fine...

My last order from Landyachtz was short a couple of boards so I'll be getting those in Feb some time. I'll throw these into the order and maybe get a couple extra sets as well.

Sector 9 slide gloves

Hi There ...I have had a pair of Loaded Slide gloves but sold them as I found they restricted my wrist movement with the large wrist support band. I recently purchased some Sector 9 slide gloves. Regardless of what many may think of Sector 9 their slide gloves are great. Full genuine cowhide leather. With two large pucks on the fingers & the std palm puck. These give my fingers more room to move without restricting wrist movement at all. The downside is they cost me $130 from cheapskates here in Nelson. Give em a go they work great!

gloves are best homebrewed

unless your made of cash or dont ever slide.... When i was skating a lot i would blast a set of gloves in a month or two max before i would wear out the cuff, top side or some other bit that would end up touching the ground.

sugar pucks are sweet and matched with $10-20 of cheap leather gloves and $5 dollars worth of velcro your good to go many times over for the cost of one set of over priced glove!

I'm with Jestah - make your own

I almost bought a pair but like Jestah says, Sugar cubes are really good, get some hardware gloves from hammer hardware for $10 and some super glue and you are good to go!

Original Skateboard rider Brian Bishop did a good How to make your own video the other day

yup

i am going to get the sugar cubes the finger ones and put them on the landyachtz gloves and if i run out of the pucks ill just buy the sugar cubes

I`ll be grabbing some oversized golf gloves next time I need a new pair of sliding gloves with some velcro & sugar cubes.
