i'm trying to find anything in NZ that's ditch/spillway-like and potentially skateable.
who knows of anything?
there's a 200m straight ditch in matarangi, though it's a bit hidden in the bush and potentially overgrown.
there's one opposite the Albany oxidation pond ("poopy pond" as my girls call it).
there's one on Hugh Green Drive, looks short, and ends in a pond (if yr not careful).
seems as though the North Shore has the potential to have a few tucked away i reckon.

I have been looking on Google Earth but haven't found any yet. We should approach the councils or water company as they would know where they built them suckers. If they built any at all that is.

The only thing i've seen that's close to skatable is some canals in the central north island, but they're always full of water.
That's not to say there's none. Canterbury Plains and McKenzie country would be the best place to look I think
