The banks boys' local. Starting 7.7km up the road, it works its way down from the summit up behind Lyttelton into the town center. Seal is quite rough so takes a bit of getting used to and it is neccesary to stop at the intersection at the hilltop because the corner is blind both ways. (also a good time to stretch the legs and take in the serene views) Also the end of the run is outside the police station so dont abuse it and either stop a bit up the hill or keep it subtle...
NOTE: This run reaaly sucks in any wind other than an easterly because it is quite exposed (East is tailwind so its fine :) ).
