yeah, I'm just trying to find out some good places to buy longboard decks pretty much

i have a dervish. its alright if u want a board that is jack of all trades but if u want to get into downhill with it i wouldn't recoment it i have tried Dh with it its scary. get a Dh board if u want a flexy turny board i would recoment u get a original they are pritty nice. if u want a cool looking graphic http://www.xvdlongboards.com/ have a wide range and lots of different board shapes. if u want a really flexboard then you could try cutting down a cheap snowboard

The dervish is a dam nice board.. I wouldn't sell mine now unless i could buy a new one.. We know that hyper is the only place you can get it in NZ.. there is always the two places in Aus that will ship for free but i think cost is still around the same..

i don't regret getting my dervish it has served me well i have found out what i am into. but if know what u want to get into get that sort of board. Just look round before you buy.

Have a look at the Honey Boards and Landy boards on boarderlines, and try Bombardier longboards - I don't have any experience with the Landy or Honey decks, but I've heard good things about them, and Billy's amazing to deal with (just a shame my board only lasted 2 months. Stupid driver running over my board...). He'll be able to recommend or make you something like a dervish if you outline exactly what you're after, and for a rather decent price too - I got a custom B1 made for less than 300 - great value, and great build quality.

I have had mine for 4 months and it has been amazing. I have no regrets on it. And the government got its share with GST so my money is in the country.

Even with shipping charges it's generally cheaper to bring in from the states...simpple as that!

There are many new nz board options, apookako has been building some very sweet boards and they are fantastic value if you are looking for something different to your B2. I even want one of his boards after having a little preview a week or two back!

they have quite a few boards such as loaded, Bustin, Comet and origonal boards id be quite keen to get a sojourn but i dont have the $$$.
