Original Trucks don't use bushings at all. The truck is a Spring Torsion truck coupled with a patented Wave Cam.

More for Carvers and Cruisers. IMO the best carving truck around. Only compatible with serious DH if you put the White Springs in the trucks.

i wouldnt say theyre that compatable with any sort of DH even with the white springs. as they doo provide a divey turn the rebound from the white springs almost flings u back to centre.
my opinion only. i still love my s8's for cruising

there is no way anybody can do any form of dh on s8's but in saying that they provide a truely unique ride

Ian Joe Dutch who is a team rider from Original just did a decent from 13,500ft on Original Trucks and they used images from his decent in their recent ad campaign in Concrete Wave.

I think if you are used to DH on Bear, Randal or Paris trucks then DH on Original trucks is going to be very different. Doesn't mean you can't do it. Its not apples for apples comparision here. You have to skate a differnt way with Originals. Ian is always doing DH in the Original videos. The other guys aren't really DH much but Dutch loves it.

I agree that if you are competition DH then EVO and Paris etc are the way to go but there is nothing to stop someone keen on DH learnig it on their Original. I have the white springs and I am learing to DH on my Custom 44. Yeah it is different from the other boards but don't we all like to be a bit different. Isn't that what sets us appart from the Mass produced Media blinded Shortboarders?

i bet you k rymes can take a old school deck to 80 but just cause he can do it dosent mean am gonna grab a powell and go do bruce road the bad thing about the advertising all these longboard companys put out is they show the pros doing amazing things on these boards when really little johnny down road buys his first origanal bombs a hill and then eats shit so i guess in a round about what im saying is woop dee doo one guy can downhill on an origanal dosent mean its a good dh board or that the trucks are good for dh

Original S8 Longboard trucks are the mainstay of our truck line. For hills and most terrain other than flat, the S8 200mm trucks will out-perform the S6 trucks and give the rider more confidence at speed. I have used trucks they are good and working fine but the S8 trucks i like more than those trucks.

yea, i love my original S8s they resistance is the same the whole way, almost feels more like a snowboard than a longboard you can get some crazy lean really easily.

but its taken them this long to admit that they are not designed for DH. No matter what springs you put in them you can not DH. Everybody who sells them says Put in white springs and you will have a similar ride to paris and randals.. but thats not true. Im glad they have FINALLY admitted they were not designed for dh there for should not be used for dh. I just feel sorry for all the kids that buy orignals because they have super good quality videos and they market there boards very well.. but then they go down a hill with no gloves or helmets because the guys in orignal videos dont wear them and eat shit because there trucks come with black springs and they shouldnt go over 30km/h.
I think they should sell there boards as, flat land free style and slow speed/mellow carving. Just my thaughts :)
