i wanna get all the lurking uni students out skating. so come celebrate the cold dunedin weather and me and probably you having holidays. will be hitting a few spots, probably north road, a little corner in the gardens and where ever else we end up.
I would, but a) no helmet,
I would, but a) no helmet, b) no gloves, c) can't slide yet, d) nowhere near good enough for North Rd, and e) got a sports tournament on Monday I have to remain in one piece for, so no skating for a week until that's over. Post some pics though so I don't feel so left out.

a) there is always a spare
a) there is always a spare helmet lying around b) im sure one of us has spare gloves c) u wont learn to slide unless u try,its not just gonna magicaly happen d) north road is just an awesome carve if u want it to be e) if u think your gonna hurt yourself then u probably are going to.

It's not a case of getting
It's not a case of getting injured, it's a case of exacerbating an existing injury - I have chronic shin splints which get worse after skating, and since I need to run for this sports tournament I can't risk setting my legs off again. I'm keen to come out next Sunday once the tournament's over though, if you guys plan to head out again then.
