I Asked if they had have permission from Andrew to use his footage to promote the commercial sale of their product and they said no and were unwilling to remove this video.
I pointed out that NO rider was using any of their product, no rider has in any away been supported by hyper on the tour and that I felt it was rude of them to use the footage for commercial gain.
While the board is cheap IMHO it is also a waste of money. Hyper describe the product as having a "Revolutionary Drop Through Truck Mounting System", maybe 8 years ago but today this is as common as sliced bread!
Both personally and as Need not ollie I ask all riders to think hard before giving ANY money to a retailer who shows such disrespect for the riders in the vid and such poor knowledge to their own product and the industry they are in.
I do ask every one to support the retailers who have proven to be there for the riders and the sport! Who know what they are talking about and do not have to stoop to using images of other product to sell their poorly made boards!

I agree with you for most of that, but it is a good deal, especially for someone just getting into the sport and need to do so cheaply.

Not really, I had a go on one of these and it's an absolute turd of a board. I'd rate Globe or S9 over these. Cheap, nasty, and made in China (despite what Hyper claim, it's not NZ made, just NZ assembled)

Yes its a good cheap way of getting into the sport, but hyper shouldn't be the ones to gain from this when they no nothing about the sport, and are putting nothing back into the longboarding community.
