I finally got a chance to break in my new hot spots this afternoon. I know I have a positive prejudice towards seismic wheels, but these blew away all of my expectations, they were amazing.
One of the things I immediately noticed about these wheels were how fast the black ops thane is. I never really believed that different urethanes provided different speed characteristics until I began commuting and doing light dh on these wheels. Like all big wheels, the initial acceleration is a tad slow, but once they move, these wheels absolutely fly. I wish I had these wheels at the outset at Popes.

What really blew me away, however, was their slide characteristics. With only a few days of commuting, I was able to coleman these wheels on my first try, and throw pendys and toesides in no time. These wheels brought me out of a sliding funk that I'd been suffering during winter, and I was able to throw my first stand up shut down today. Also, unlike the old seismic blast waves, these wheels are extremely resistant to coning. The slide is a bit choppy (as would be expected of a fat slalom/dh wheel), but way smoother than a big zig, and far more predictable than 80a orangatang urethane. These wheels were far less grippy than I expected, especially since I've been running 80a mini monsters, which grip like a vice. The slide was so predictable that even when I threw a poor slide and thought the wheel was going to grip up and make me eat it hard, it would give just enough to get me out of the slide.

In conclusion, I would HIGHLY recommend these wheels to anyone who wants a fat, fast downhill wheel. Without being broken in, these wheels would perform excellently in any race. Once broken in, they would still perform extremely well, and I wouldn't hesitate to race on them.........

if you guys have any question's please dont hesitate to ask a question,if you would like to purchase these wheels either text me on 027 8195 195 or post back on here
