This weeks Monday skate will be Vintage Drive Henderson North 0612 and Palomino Drive again as it was epic last week.

As before I am going skating not matter what, rain or shine on my own or with you guys as I just need to skate.
Meet up at Vintage drive first it's all good average sized (can do 60kph with a few kicks from the top if you want to bomb) and it's got a chill as side as well so it's sweet for beginners and everyone else.
Palomino and Lake Panorama etc will be busy as after school through till it starts getting dark but it's lit up super mean (Specially Panorama) so darkness isn't really a problem. So I reckon Jam vintage for a while then get in cars and drive up the road 2 minutes and hit up the other spots once there's a little less after-school traffic but before all the home owners finish work and start going back to their mansions.
Beginners and veterans are invited as I believe there are easy and harder areas round these streets, some DH and some carving as well as curbs for practicing Early Grabs :)
See you there
Nick

Wow
You've got my lingo down Nick, That description looks just like what I said haha, also, Vintage speed record is 55km/ph.

Might need to switch to town car parks
Weather has turned nasty. Lots of wind and lots of Rain. Might switch to CBD Carparks
021 108 4894 for updates
Yup we are shifting to CBD Car Parks
Shifting the Skates to the CBD Car Parks to get out of the wind and rain
Nah
Do that if you wanna go head to head with traffic around each blind corner for a few hours. Not to mention security will get you soon as you get a clear run. Stick to the original spot, it's not that bad I was out there and it's all good. otherwise just call it off coza bunch of us got snapped a while ago and there's no point getting busted again on a daylight run thus putting off our night-time CBD parking lot skates for another while.
I second this...
Car parks should not be skated when its DRY or when its likely high traffic times as you will bring unwanted heat these spots and make it hard for us to hit when its wet AND times other than rush hour traffic.
I encourage all riders to respect the above as it keeps us on the better side of the car park wardens and owners. If we are there causing issues or even the slightest bit of a crash I can see the usual situation of being asked to leave after one more run turning into the wardens calling the police and being boxed in by the men in blue... A few weeks back we watched as this happened to 3 cars full of boy racers who were getting boozed on the top floor.
Summer is just around the corner too and I know that the late night car park sessions were the only thing that got me through this poo winter! Lets not screw it up for next year!!!
it wasnt
dry in the city at all
and we figured that there was no way the it was dry out west so we hit the car parks
met up with nick later who said it was dry till he got out there and it just poured down making it really unfun
as for security and cars
we hit one that was basically dead with out any occurrences with cars for over 2 hours before nick got there and stayed there till security cleared us out about half an hour later
we then hit the car park next to it and the same car turned up before we got a run down but unsurprising because they were the same company and right next to each other
we skated for a bit and hit another for about half an hour with out any problems with cars and the security guard turned up just as we walked out the door (different company)

Rain
I skated in the rain all day, it was all good! Rain sliding can be super fun!
Thats the thing bro, Every time security kicks out a bunch of longboarders (Specially in close succession) they put this $h!7 as stigma on longboarders! We get enough of that in town as it as, Just a while ago we were out skating one night and this guy stuck his arm out to close-line one of us off their board, the last thing we need is security guards wanting to run us down in their cars! So pretty much security saw you at EVERY lot you hit, which sucks because now they'll watch those carparks and the next time a group of Non-Need not ollier's(I know quite a few of them) go hit up the parking lots, they won't get a warning but will end up having to deal with the cops and possibly get trespassed.
Not meaning to sound like I'm slamming you (I'm not at all) but just saying it's incredibly stupid and somewhat selfish to hit up parking lots in broad daylight/early evening during peak usage time, (It makes it look like we show no consideration for the public, to them it's like skating car-parks is us intruding on their normal-ness, they don't want us flying towards them around corners going twice as fast as they are) We hit it up at night so we're more or less out of the way and there are few to no cars around at all, and when it looks like there's traffic flow we're out of there asap. All I gotta say is your lucky you didn't get hit by a car coming around a corner bro. Not a super bright Idea.
Anyway, endrant\ Keep skating and spreading the stoke.
