Albany estate skate day

so today lyle showed us an epic hill in albany and we are going to have an all day session there next saturday (the 12th). This hill is a closed road with no cars. It has a few runs the main run being around 800-900m and can either free ride with lots of slides or bomb it (we were hitting 50ish with a head wing we rekon).
We will be going all day so bring out your game face.
I will have a chilli bin with food and alot of water but if anyone could pitch in drinks and food would be great.
This estate is in Albany at the end of Vauaghans Road off Okura River Road which is off East Coast Bays Road. Has a massive fancy gate that you gotta go round so very hard to miss.

maybe we can talk to them and ask permission. Let them know we are safe, will pick up any thing we bring and will be 100% resectfull to his land.
I also dont mind splitting the cost of beer/wine/whatever if we need to do some bribing too!

he didnt really mind us skating last weekend as the bit that is one the road isnt is land bank owns it. He would onyl care if we messed with his cows or his paddocks which we can not do and we will jsut set up camp away from his house so we dont piss him off.

Once again, This isn't just aimed at you but just to everyone ya know'
With all the hate we've been getting lately the last thing we wanna do is feed that stigma that we've had put on us (Sucks but oh well thats the media for you).
There's never* a need for breaking things. There's always a way around it. Like if walking up a hill was really that bad you could easily just ask the dude to let a car through his paddock to get us up and down the road all day. But the fact is, walking up hills is all part of it(Thereby gaining trust AND respect for all of us with the farmer for future skates).
Another example of making longboarding as a whole look bad is when _____ (Not gunna namedrop you know who you are) was on a carpark skate with us, we came up to a locked parking lot and this person started shaking, kicking and trying to lift the gate, before proceeding to talking obnoxiously loud about how we should just break it or break a window to get in etc.
This isn't about being PC it's about showing respect just like everyone else, how would you feel if someone put a pair of bolt cutters to the lock on your gate? (Assuming you had one)
Like Clive said "you gotta think long term", we wanna benefit the community by putting on skates, not make us look like a bunch of "God damned skater hooligans", no point taking two steps forward and one step back.

*Breaking things is sometimes necessary but usually only when every option fails, in this case there are sooooo many ways we could get around that gate other then breaking the lock.
