Hey there guys.
I'm just wondering what the major difference between trucks are?
Specifically Randels and Paris?
Thanks.

*Randal 180 and Paris 180.

not a major difference..
paris are gravity cast and have a better bushing seat in my opinion, they also have the kingpin attached to the base plate were as randals do not.
Randal 180's can come other degree baseplates where paris are only 50 or 52, cant remember.
and paris hangers life time
and paris hangers life time guarentee.
oh and..
paris stock bushings are actually alright where randals are shit as in my opinion
Randals...
R-2s have rake
flipable - 180 marking out gives a truck that wants to carve and roll onto its rail and fipped they have trailing rake and this gives more return to centre and more stable ride. Flipping them will NOT affect the hanger angle. Rake gives you two different rides from the same truck BUT at a small sacrifice to grip (not enough to really care)
R-2s have a long kingpin to axle distance which makes them taller, gives more leverage and adds to the super fun carve. This distance also has a small loss to traction but once again not huge.
What is rake?

paris has a more restrictive
paris has a more restrictive bushing seat which a lot of people including myself seem to love. they also have beefier hangers but i dont think many people have experienced bent randals (do not quote me) because they are pretty solid. everyone else has pretty much said it
Paris
I've tried both and a would always choose paris over randal \, pretty much becuase of the reasons above
they both bend relatively
they both bend relatively easily, after a few months of heavy riding they will both be slightly bent, but this is nothing new, most cast trucks are like that.
paris cant handle elim bushings.
i personally prefer randals because of their feel when u put elims in em. pure awesomeness.
i have found teh elim
i have found teh elim problem too. they fit kinda ok but not snug at all.
mod those elims
i have its easy a shit
you just cut the flat bottom step off an put this facing into the bushing seat
Both brand's parts are
Both brand's parts are interchangable. just try it and see.
