look on trademe u can find some cheap deals for longboards.

honestly ur first boards gunna take quite a beating. my fist board was a second hand sector 9 that i picked up from a shop. it got ran over by a car and survived. learned to slide on it and learned to carve shit up. why this story is relevant is cause ur first board doesn't really matter. get some slide gloves and a helmet they're a vital part of enjoying longboarding.

old voodoo thats steezy

go on www.stokedskateboards.com/decks/jatiboards.html and have a look they are good boards maybe round 30 - 50$ more than what your looking at but they are cheap for what they are. ( I Think )
