Photo Gallery - Slow...

Hi,

Does the photogallery run slow for anyone else?
Im not sure wether its just my computer, or internet connection - 256k, flash...
But its driving me nuts!

Is there someway to optomise it? or is it just because people are uploading uncompressed files?

Awsome site by the way, we I had known about this website sooner.

Yeah i do have the same problem with the slow photo gallery. Richard? any ideas?? i know that a few of those photos are uncompressed so that could be why. And good to have you on the site Julian,. Welcome!

Hi Julian, yeah it's not the best is it... I don't really have time at the moment to do something about this, but if everyone loaded smaller images ~ 500kb then it would run a lot faster.

I can download them all and post in a more usable size when the competition is ready to be judged.

Might try and do something about it sooner if I get the time
