Board protectors

nose protectors could be a

nose protectors could be a good idea as you can screw up your board with too many bangs.

An easy way to do this can be just to mount your trucks so far forward that the base plate extends beyond the deck slightly. no good if you want to do nose manuals though.

Surf Board Nose protectors?

Surf Board Nose protectors?- Would they work?

Vinyl Hose

A thing my maters have done is brought some 32mm diameter vinyl hose and cut it in half and glued it on and put a small screw at each end of it (the glue wasn't holding too well). Does the trick ae!

there's heaps of different

there's heaps of different options... abit of ingenuity doesnt go astray...
a quick search round the net and silverfish should bring a few options up....

risers that extend past the front of the deck...
a piece of plastic or garden hose with a slit in it...
simply gluing a piece of anything on the front would help...

options are limitless

When I get home Ill hav a looksy in the garage and see what goodies are for offer. Thanks for ur advice

dont crash?

and when you do be stoked that your pushing your self so hard your crashing!

but any one who has seen my boards knows how much damage they have and ... how often i crash

CRASH

Crashing is fun for young and old alike, and if your lucky you might even end up with scars. The ladies love scars and so does Richard. Put your helmet on.
Cool kids wear lids.

Biking

Yeah I do DH mountainbiking as well so I have my fair share of scars

a longboard condom.

get your self some rubber and put on the end of your board to protect it from HVC (high velocity crashes)

lol na i just got some rubber from a old bike tube and super glued it on the ends of my board.

Shoe Goo

The laminate on my first board started to split from too many impacts, I usually just chuck on a layer or two of shoe goo, seems to help protect from impact - at low speed anyway
