Get your ass outta bed nice and early sunday morning and head north to the waiwera area, for some DH. This little event will only take place if there is sufficient intrest. We'll decide as a collective exactly what the plan is over the next 4 days. If nobody's game than F it we'll do it another time. The floor is open to all and any ideas.....

I'm back behind the wheel, and doin a bit of flat land, no DH for me for a while yet, but I would like to get some photos and maybe some video footage. mostly I just need to get out and about again, No work and no skating and lots of TV make Speedy go stir crazy.

My Two Cents
Post up the runs you are talking about please.
I drive that road heaps there are two interesting runs between here and Warkworth and from what I have seen from the Auckland riders only two people would have the skill to ride them. One of them is away and the other cant ride.
These runs are Wairera Hill north and the hill just after Puhoi coming south. The rest of the runs are just straight with average pavement.
I think we are better to do SH16 and the surrounding area. I know of three runs longer than 1 km no more than 10 minutes from Albany and one a little further that would be more suited to people skill levels.
I'm not hating on people's stoke I just think these road's are more suited to people's skill level (including my own).
Im happy to show people these roads but starting at 6am so there is some natural light.

that works. I just wanna get out there and get some photos etc. cause this site is lacking pics of its members out there riding. so a message to all, just cuz the photo comp is drawing to an end, don't stop taking pics, dh, sliding, dancing whatever just hold your finger on the button!
