After the luge session on Sunday morning it time to see what the local area has to offer.
We will fill up the cars and head out to Whangaparaoa via some food to see what is out there.
All welcome.

GulfHarbour ?!
...?
At some point
We will visit that area and annoy the upper class by shredding there roads. I want to check out the whole of the main road that runs the length of the peninsular. Hopefully there is some long sections around the 2 km mark to skate.
Whangaparaoa hills
Hi - Im a Peninsula resident, so heres a few to start.
1 - Gulf harbour drive. Gulf harbour from Whangaparaoa road down to the Gulf Harbour Village (the steep part)
Bombed this one the day before my Wedding 7 years ago with Plummet much to the discust of the Wife. Watch for speeding cars.
2 - Pinecrest road. The steep road behind the Golf Course at the back of Gulf harbour - wicked for sliding as is (was) top qual hotmix- too steep to bomb however. Hardly any traffic.
3 - Kestral heights/Coralsea way, Arkles bay - this is the domain of the Slider/Freeboarder. Smooth, friggin steep - watch for Kids.
4 - D'Oyly drive Stanmore bay - its a Bombing hill - kinda rough so maybe big soft duro only (havent done this one)
