Setup for sliding

A mate of mine if wanting to get into sliding and is wondering what the best setup would be ie what trucks, wheels, bearings and deck.

Jestah has a slide board

Jestah has a slide board which i think he wants to sell mail him: jestah at neednotollie.com

You can slide pretty much any board, but special purpose slide boards have:

Hard smallish wheels - 60-70mm & above 90a
Not too long, but longer than a normal skateboard say 35 inches
a kick tail at one or both ends
and low to the ground and nice and light

if its his first sliding board, it will get pretty beat up so i would suggest just getting some harder wheels for a regular longboard.
