Rayne Longboards For Sale!!!

Ladies and Gentalmen, Boys and Girls!

After being schooled in the art of running a business by a very wise man, the discussions of the past few days and due to having to pause building boards health reasons Uglie Carnie Longboards with the help from my very sexy Canadian girlfriend will be stocking a few styles of board not yet available easily in NZ

Early next week my lovely lady will be touching down with suitcases full of boards ready to hit our roads but before every one jump up and down in rage considering my passion for NZ made let me make a few comments...

Yes NZ made all the way BUT the first and foremost NZ riders do need selections which is something I have always promoted and as has been pointed out to me NO one in NZ is doing any sort of lowered boards (YET!).

I have also been told that until my results are back I am not to expose my self to any sort of sanding dust or resin fumes and this is my plea to all board builder out there to get good quality respirators with organic vapour filters when your working with any resin, big pots or small and fine particle filters when your doing ANY sanding as you don't want to end up like me or the many other surfboard shapers who have health issues! Until I get clearance to be building again or can afford to hire a worker I will have to support the local skate crew in other ways.

I plan to only stock the Demonseed, Nimisis, Isis and Kill switch as to not stomp on the toes of other nz builders. This may change in the future but only with the consent of Billy and Will. The discussions about nz made over the past few days have shown that with support from you nz board builders will grow but until we builder offer what you want then the retailers need to do what we can to provide you with what you want now. I thank Nick for opening my eyes and hope that by builder and importing Uglie Carnie can provide better overall service and selection to you.

Lastly and the kicker that makes this ok by me is that this first shipment of boards will be offered at as close to the retail price in North America and may only be more only more due to having to pay the taxes and some excess baggage costs. Future shipments may be a little bit more due to the cost of shipping but I will do as much as i can to keep prices as low as possible. Should any of the chain skate stores start stocking Rayne boards you will be forced to pay double what you should but I am doing my best to make sure you will pay less that will be cheaper than going to Ozzie or north American sites. While I will not know exact prices until mid next week I am expecting the boards to sell for around $310 each and the kill switch will be around $370. I will post up final prices as soon as I can. I expect to start shipping these boards some time next week so long as they are not held by customs for too long!

Feel free to email me on jestah@neednotollie.com should you want a board and would like to put your name down, they will be on a first come, first serve basis so be in quick as there is only two of each!

Feel free to post comments, call me a sell-out and rant away but please trust me that this deal with Rayne took a lot of discussion to make sure they are were willing to offer NZ riders a deal that would support our local market and are willing to work with me to grow our community and that I plan to use any profits to develop NNO as well as getting the Uglie Carnie workshop up and running to give NZ builder more options!
