Still in the process of ordering it, and emailing a supplier of Velcro at the moment.

The pieces that I'll initially be doing are 10mm x 80mm x 80mm and are black, that material is also available in white if anyone has a preference. If there is a size that would be preferred that's no problem either.

how are you planning on attaching the velcro to the pucks?

Self adhesive velcro from spotlight seems to work fine for me but perhaps it's worth doing something a bit more permanent for UHMWPE.

Could even sell em through the site if you want

Black Velvet uses self adhesive Velcro so that's what I'm think about at this stage. I've only ever used self threading screws and they work all good also, but are a bit of a hassle. If the Velcro is fine I believe that will be much easier. I'm about to head to spotlight in a second to see what they have. The place i emailed was doing self adhesive 50mm (widest they had) for $23 a meter, so F**K that.

Right, just got back from spotlight, the only self adhesive velcro that had was 20mm x 100m so i just went with that. I believe two strips of it per puck will be plenty to hold the puck solid. Hopefully the adhesive backing is fairly strong, otherwise a dab of glue should hold it. I'll give it a good testing when the UHMWPE arrives.

I've ordered enough UHMWPE for 5 pairs of pucks at this stage, so will see how many I can push locally (Dunedin) and any remainders I can get out to you guys, otherwise I'll just order more.

Alternatively I can also supply some small self threading screws, I've found 3 per glove to hold the old chopping board pucks on nicely. There like $3 for 30 odd so I can just chuck some in if anyone wanted them.

im keen for some pucks too. I have a few meters of velcro hook and loop from a place in the hutt for $2.50m.

Yeah i'm hoping to sell a small amount of stuff through the site at some point soon - stickers, t-shirts - slide pucks could make a good addition as they are hard to get here... i'll have a think about it.

The pucks are just as good as i expected. The dimensions (80 x 80mm) feel much more natural then other pucks I've ran that are roughly 90 x 85mm. After having a quick skate on them they before the rain started, they seem to wear quite well, far better then acrylic chopping boards lol. The Velcro seems to be doing the trick. Overall I'm very happy with them.
