Anyone going snowboarding/skiing at ruapehu this winter? I'll be up there next week and try and head up a few other weekends this season. Lemme know if you wanna catch up!
Oh, and ofcourse pack your longboards just incase the mountain is closed but the road is dry :-)

I plan to be there most weekends from next week, maybe the odd weekday if im lucky. i'll be leaving from Hamilton so if anyone wants a ride or can meet up the mountain im always keen to ride with more people
snow in NOV?
i would LOOOOVE to ride some snow in NZ then bomb a road to the beach then go surfing..is that possible in NOV? i ski, tele and snowboard..and i don't mind earnin my turns.

Should be possible early november, depending on the season - certainly was last year but maybe not this year. you probably could do all 3 in a day but would need a bit of a drive to get to taranaki for a surf.

week snow boarding then headed to np to hit hills and surf was awesome.... besides the sunburn :)
