(beginners) - Frontside cornering action (natural stance), 7 levels high, with toplevel outdoor area leading into the run. A good racing run with max 35km+ progressive speeds. Good with friends, Has U-racing line curve. has a drink machine at the end of the run. Run ends straight into the elevator. No walking back up. (please no little kids abusing this spot, we dont want it on the security hit list)

Best hours to hit this park are weekends 4-5 PM onwards. hardly any cars.

Relatively new subdivision with smooth seal and good run off. The hill is not steep enough to get a real buzz but if you want to practice slide or just want to cruise & carve in a smooth wide road with no cars, this is the one.

Did this road today. Its good for DH or for those surfers amongst us if you go on the left hand pavement there are sooo many banked public driveways its like one long wave with cutback, re entry then another cutback and another re entry. It was so much fun

mean car park AKA The car park of the gods at 36°52'56"S 174°42'28"E Its really good for learning hand slides cause its got a bit of a slope but you can also pick up a lot of speed on it if you push.

Also mean run easy to see if there are any cars around which there aren't that many. From 36°52'48.87"S 174°42'40.26"E to 36°52'37.52"s 174°42'24.93"E really run for carving and straighting and easy to stop at end.

There are also some drinking fountains at 36°52'52.26"S 174°42'30.38"E

This is an amazing outdoor carpark in Grey Lynn, Auckland that me and a few mates discovered a few weeks ago. It has a long, smooth slope as an entry, easily wide enough for carving, which leads into a flat parking space. One more slope leads into an awesome carving area, really wide and just the right smoothness. This slope continues for a while-you can get REALLY fast down here-and this comes out into a wide parking area with a gentle slope on the other side, so stopping isn't a problem.

Just recently moved to Auckland and having a good explore. So far have found Maidstone St it is a good short ride has nice smooth tarmac for sliding and is a easy cursing gradient with a side slope so you can ride it like a wave and get added speed if wanted.

Start where Green Lane East meets Ascot ave. head down Ascot ave until it becomes Orakei road, follow Orakei road down into Mission Bay and at the VERY bottom turn left down Ngapipi road. The second half of Ascot ave is a slight up hill you will just have to skate up, no biggie. So you have aprox 4.5km of down hill on smooth (for nz) roads, crusie low gradent donhill. Would love to do it at night. The last road, Ngapipi road scares me, i have never done it but it looks fast, (i could be wrong).

Nice small hill for carving and learning to slide. Out in the Hutt up Hill Rd. It is a circuit best done counter-clockwise with a quick walk to get you back to the top. Buttery smooth concrete with barely any cars. Starts off with an easy gradient-great for carving, then turns steeply left and then left again then finishes with a nice uphill runout. Then walk to the top and do it all again. Also Check out all the other Roads in the Western Hills.
