Go from the very top car park, go up the little hill and go all the way to the middle car park then down to the main road.
Some smoothe long runs with minimal traffic just go crusing around behind the shopping centre, great for beginner to intermediate but its possible too generate some serious speed for you pros our there. the steeper stuff is over by mission heights and the more crusy (but long) rides are over by Moryus Cresent
Excellent slide hill, great seal, noone really parks on the road so wide as for maximum fun! Stop looking at it, go slide it!
mean car park AKA The car park of the gods at 36°52'56"S 174°42'28"E Its really good for learning hand slides cause its got a bit of a slope but you can also pick up a lot of speed on it if you push.
Also mean run easy to see if there are any cars around which there aren't that many. From 36°52'48.87"S 174°42'40.26"E to 36°52'37.52"s 174°42'24.93"E really run for carving and straighting and easy to stop at end.
There are also some drinking fountains at 36°52'52.26"S 174°42'30.38"E
This is my favourite hill at the moment, great seal, fairly steep and wide, very little traffic outside of working hours but be carefull about cops as its by the court!!!! Its just above the new mall in albany and is great for bombing and carving.
The TSB arena carpark. A exceptional good carpark with its smooth floor, open space and being well lit this is a good place for boarders trying to learn to slide, manual, board dance etc. We often play skate tag here to build up endurances
its steep, its tight, it insane. not for the faint of heart. If you can't drift, slide or handle crashing stay the hell away from this one. Oh and watch out for the cars, bike and pedestrians that use it during the waking hours of the day. You gonna need pads, gloves and a helmet for this little jem located between anzac ave. and beach rd. next to the alten reserve.
This is a nice little hairpin corner to drift right on oriental bay.
Start on oriental terrace and drift into a little unnamed one way st and stop by the stairs to get back up! Rinse, repeat...
It's neat cos you can see the road below and it's one way anyway so almost no chance of cars.
this is the biggest and perfect hill we have found in Hamilton. It has no replaced the "Hamilton Slide hill"
