Hi All
Ultimate Boards just went live. Please visit at www.ultimateboards.co.nz and let me know what you think. Maybe you might even want to buy something. Apex 37 anyone.......
Gotta say the Derringer 28 is amazing. Short 28inch board, 10inch wide with 76mm wheels :)
The Custom 44 is the one for me. Its a beast at 44inches long, 250mm trucks and 76mm wheels.
Let me know what you think.

Site looks great, Nick. Good job. =D
Hopefully I'd be able to give one of the Original boards ago. They look like crazy carvers.

Site looks mean
site is looking good. When u get Original S6 Trucks (150mm)back in?
S6 in next shipment
S6's not due for about a month. If you r thinking of a pair for your loaded you would be better to go for S8's
Check out the video guide on the trucks page that shows you how to measure your board for the right size trucks.
Nick
not for the dervish
i am wanting to make myself a mini board 25-28 inch or so and these would be the ideal trucks for the job. though it would be pritty sick to put some on a dervish
Site looks good, the only
Site looks good, the only suggestion I'd make is that clicking on the photos when in the category view should open the info page, rather than enlarging the photo, as a lot of sites hyperlink photos to info pages then enlarge the photo from the info page if clicked again, and people are familiar with this method, so it makes the site more user-friendly.
Thanks
Thanks for that.
I'll see if I can do something about it
Nick
You can use the info link
You can go straight to the info pages by clicking the info page button under the image in categories view, so you have the choice. At the moment changing the link on the image is not configurable in a Smallfish Template.

Hopefully this question
Hopefully this question doesn't seem too stupid,
But what is an Original board like on other trucks other then their own?

flexible longboard? i dunno
flexible longboard? i dunno personally i've only tried the apex 35 and it had mad flex and the trucks were so twitchy that i didn't like it. but if you were to be going downhill i could see how carving it up would be easy to do. I've grown used to the bushing trucks thou

Original Decks on other trucks
You are the first person to ask that. Usually people ask about putting their existing deck on the trucks.
Putting your existing trucks on an Apex 34, Apex 37, Custom 35 and Custom 44 would give you a flexible deck with loads of pop and plenty of snap at the end of each carve to transition you smoothly into your next carve. Your trucks would probably feel more responsive due to the positive flex and the more sensitive feeling you would get though the deck would make your ride more intuitive.
That said, I have never done it so I am guessing. We should try it! Next shipment I will get some Decks so we can try it out.
With regards to the other way round, I put S8s on my Sector 9, it was like it turned into a complety new board. My Custom 35 is 10 Inches wide and med flex so is really responsive, the sector 9 is 7 inches wide and is a lot stiffer so was a much more controlled ride. I actually felt more confident on it as it wasnt so twitchy.
Re downhill bombing. On the Black springs that come with the boards, I wouldnt recommend it. But there are the red and also the white springs. Red are med and White are heavy tension. White springs in the OS trucks make the resistance feel more like a traditional truck but still with the turning ability. White springs are suited for downhill bombing.
Hope that helps
Site looks wicked
Nice work nick site looks good!

Weekly Skates
R u going to come to the weekly Auckland skates at the cemetery?
If you're going to try it
If you're going to try it out with other trucks, can you let me know? =] I'm just looking into a light, flexible deck I could use for simple freestyle. Learn some flashy little tricks, you know.
I may be a while until I could afford it, but if it seems awesome, I will totally look into it.
