Nz first reall speedboarding road
Bruce road is every thing we have wanted. A 5km long run of super fun and well cambered bends smartly dressed in butter smooth road surface (didn't look like black top but not sure if it is concrete). Steep enough that if you hold your tuck i think this hill will max out in the late 90s but also not soo steep that a stand up run with the odd carve or two would be well under 60km. Not too much traffic early in the week but enough that it would be a short wait to hitch a ride to the top

The search is now on.
There are numerous mountains in the counrty, thus there must be numerous roads like this one. Those of you who live near mountains please, please drive these roads, measure them and inspect the quality of the road surface. We need to catalogue all these roads for furture riding.
Kaimai Ranges
We drove it Sunday afternoon. Around 4km depending where you stop. Some bad patches of pavement but still skateable. A trip to skate this when Jestah and Richard arent tired would be intresting.
